Unlimited is limited!

While profiting from the traffic, Tokyo-based mobile carriers DoCoMo and KDDI Corp. say they’ve been forced to impose limits on the heaviest users as the $74 billion network feels the strain.

Softbank Corp., the third-largest network and the Japanese operator of Apple Inc.’s iPhone service, said it is also considering restrictions on users with unlimited data plans.

How does that work out? Selling unlimited data plans, and then charging more you if you go over the unlimit?

How on fuck is that supposed to make sense? let alone be fair to who subscribed for the unlimited acces?

BTW, I can never understand the Japanese! Browsing from the cellphone sucks, even with the bestest cellphone (iPhone) it still nothing like browsing from a proper desktop/laptop computer. And don't start me on viewing pr0n from your cellphone, even with a widescreen phone, it still doesn't work. I can't imagine how it'll be on Japanese phones with small screens.
